Resumes are created to meet the current trends in resume filtering.  Time is money for small and big companies and they don't like to waste it.  Having a resume that hones in on what they are looking for is essential. I will create two resumes that are catered specifically to the industry you are interested in applying for.  One is formatted for online submission, the second is a standard resume formatted for in-person interviews and review.

 

If you don't quite know what you will be applying for....no worries, I can create a general resume that will make you stand out.

How It Works

Once you have read over the service descriptions below and have decided which one you'd like, follow these steps to get started:

 

Step 1   Fill-in our questionnaire...this has to be done first!

Step 2   Click on the Add to Cart button to make a payment, this is done via PayPal.

Step 3   After submtting the Questionnaire and the Payment, please allow 3 business days for delivery.

Cover letters are intended to show the company you are applying to, that you are genuinely interested in the position they are hiring for.  It's this extra step that they ask for that filters out those willing to put in the extra time to do it and those that won't.  I create compelling and informative cover letters that showcase your overall strengths...a precursor to your resume.

Reference List

Reference lists will no doubt be asked for when the potential employer has finalists or is ready to hire or has already made you the offer...in any of those cases, it's important to have one ready to present.  A reference list consists of current or previous employers, or co-workers, perhaps an instructor who knows your work ethic.  I will create a reference list that matches the style of your resume (if I create your resume) so it shows consistency.  In addition, I create general Reference Lists as well for you to have on hand.

General Letters

Should you have a general document that needs to be created that is not job specific, I am able to create a general letter for you:  i.e. letter of resignation, appeal letter, letter of interest, etc.  Please email me with your request and timeframe and I will see if I can create it for you.  I will let you know either way.

 LinkedIn              Optimization

LinkedIn is the recruiter's and head-hunter's key resource to finding potential job candidates.  The summary is important because it should succinctly describe your strengths within a paragraph.  The overall profile is important because it should be concise, well written and professional in tone.  Often, recruiters briefly scan over profiles looking for key words, and if those words aren't seen within the first few seconds then they move on to the next profile.  I work on either specific areas or the overall profile.  I understand how recruiters use this as a tool and I can optimize it for you, providing suggestions and advice along the way if needed.

Curriculum 
          Vitae

A Curriculum Vitae or (CV) as it is commonly known, focuses on the education, achievements and publications throughout ones life or academic career.  It is mainly used in academia in place of a resume.  In other countries, outside of the U.S., it is used in place of a resume.

Statement of

                       Purpose

If you are applying for university, more than likely you have been asked to produce a Statement of Purpose (SOP).  After researching and reviewing the trends with creating SOP's, I found that the most common mistake with these is that they do not focus on why the student chose the school and/or the program of study.  What is found instead is a vast array of long stories that include hardships endured, personal dilemmas, pleading, and....more pleading.  What review committees want to read is something entirely different....and I know what that is...so contact me so that I can get started with your SOP, or I can review the one you have written and provide constructive feedback.

 

Includes: Up to two pages of proofreading, first draft with suggested changes, final copy with accepted changes. 

 

Tutoring Services

Services Offered:

English as a Second Language, for those whose native language is not English this service is provided one-on-one.  The focus is based on your current needs, whether for better work communication, email communication or to better understand the business culture here in the States. 

 

This service can also offer Interview Tutoring.  If you have not been interviewed lately and you are now seeking work then I strongly encourage a one hour session to get you prepared for your interviews...well worth the investment.

This service is coming soon.  All businesses can benefit from having a social media presence. Having a presence online doesn't have to be overwhelming. You can start with one platform and decide if you are able to maintain additional platforms.
